Question about 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 3500
I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500. It started making a clicking noise under the hood, first we thought it was the universal joint, but after having a mechinal look at it, he said it was the Transfer Case. He is unable to find a transfer case for our vechile.
What would be better a new transfer case or have the current transfer case rebuilt?
I know nothing about vechile parts and really need some advise on what to do.
I would check both ways first and see what the mechanical rate is in your area take it to a auto body dealership to have it done cahrges are 85.00 to 110.00at the dealership or private shops ok Please rate my response thank you very much
