This is just a shot in the dark, but wiggle the wires on the top of the air filter canister...i had this same problem (though i never got in to check if the engine plugs) after I changed the air filter.

I had started to take that sensor off bove the air filter because i thought i had to, turns out i didn't need to do that. I put the air filter in, and my car wouldn't start...I unscrewed and screwed back in the tiny screws that hold that plug into the top of the airbox sensor thing (no idea what it's called)...and wiggled it around and it started fine again.

I will not change my air filter again!!

First have your starter tested by a shop or an auto parts store like NAPA, Auto Zone, ect. If its not that move on to ignition problems, I.E. coils, plugs, wires. Since you already changed the fuel pump and filter it shouldn't be a problem with either of them. Unless its a problem within something inline on the fuel system.

It loses power on acceleration and serious loss of power on hills

sounds like a clogged fuel filter. you need to have the engine pressure checked for leaks, you can rent the pressure checker at autozone, it connects to ur radiator and u pump pressure into the cooling system if u find water leaking around the head u know u have a blown head gasket. if ok then check the cylinder compression should beable to rent this also. it screws into the spark plug holes has a gauge on it. alternator problem w/ the light is probaly you need to tighten the belt.hope this helps!!!

The mass air flow often goes bad on them. Did you have the vehicle scanned. Try unplugging the mass air flow and driving it. It is built into the air intake hose. If that does not change things, check the fuel pressure, and the throttle position sensor.

Hope this helped

Toy starts runs 10 seconds and stops change fuel filter now wont

When you tur the key forward do you hear the fuel pump running? You should hear a low hum for about 20 seconds near the gas tank and then it stops. If you hear this your pump is good. If it keeps running or you can't hear it at all it's bad or the main fuel pump fuse is blown.

1990 Camry runs roughly when accelerating, especially up hills...

This could be a problem with plugs, wires, distributors, fuel filter or fuel injectors. Try changing the plugs and wires first, then the fuel filter. If you are changing the plugs and wires, make sue you use anti seizing compound and dielectric grease.
