It's basically a stand alone relay... most times... look for a relay by itself and often round. my ford winstars flasher relay was actually located in the fuse box under the drivers side dash. it was blue and larger then the other relays so that may be a clue to you.

cannot see the fuse panel or that relay. there is another fuse box located in the engine compartment near the battery as well. Mazda may have the fuse box placed somewhere else... is there an inspection panel on the slopping part of the dash on either side of the steering column ?

I am working on my this weekend. It is hard to see; need to crawl in look with flash light. It is secured with two plastic snap in studs. Just pinch them with small players and push.
About the one in Advance has 5 prongs to the steel under console face.under drivers side; the original has six prongs. Have it on my hand. Hafta go to dealer or other source.
This truck's flasher serves as emergency and turn signal as well. I am shopping the internet now for the right one. good luck

1998 Dodge Durango flasher relays location

Turn on the Durango and check each of the four turn signals to make sure that the bulbs are not burned out. If you find one that has gone out, replace the bulb and retest the turn signals. When a bulb goes bad on this circuit, the resulting operation can mimic a bad flasher or one that is failing.

Locate the combination turn signal flasher and relay. It is on the left end of the driver's dash. Open the access door and view the collection of relays and fuses. At the left side of the mounting block is a larger flasher and relay. This is the combination turn signal flasher and relay.

Test the relay by placing you finger on the relay housing and activating the turn signal. If you have found the right one, you should feel a clicking as the turn signal blinks. Remove the relay, replace with the new relay and close the access door

.

Start the Durango and activate the turn signals to check that they each work. The light should turn on and should blink. Also, check the hazard lights to make sure they work.

The Turn signals on my 1998 Toyota Corolla will not work they won't even show up on dashboard what is the problem?

Do the flashers still work? This sounds like a bad flasher relay problem.Locate the flasher for the turn signals and hazard lights. The flasher relay is under the dash near the steering column. It will be the larger of the square relays.Try wiggling it to see if turn siganls will work or emergency flashers will work. The relay should look like this jsmes1027.jpg

Where do i find the flasher for the indicator? the left light wont come on even thogh we bought a new bulb

Flashers and Relays REPLACEMENT Pickups The hazard warning flasher, on the pickup, is located to the left of the steering column, beneath the instrument panel, and is secured by a clamp and one screw. To remove it, simply unplug the electrical connector, loosen the screw, and slide the flasher out of the clamp. The turn signal flasher is located to the right of the steering column, beneath the instrument panel, and is secured in the same way as the hazard flasher. The turn the signal relay is located to the immediate right of the hazard flasher, and is secured by two screws. To remove it, unplug the electrical connector and remove the screws. MPV The relays and flashers are located under the dash, near the fusebox. Navajo Both the turn signal flasher and the hazard warning flasher are mounted on the fuse panel on the truck. To gain access to the fuse panel, remove the cover from the lower edge of the instrument panel below the steering column. First remove the two fasteners from the lower edge of the cover. Then pull the cover downward until the spring clips disengage from the instrument panel. The turn signal flasher unit is mounted on the front of the fuse panel, and the hazard warning flasher is mounted on the rear of the fuse panel. prev.gif next.gif

1998 taurus - turn signals were working - pushed the hazard lights button - hazards did not work and also now turn signals do not work

Check the fuse/relay panel for a blown fuse/relay. Also look at the turn signal flasher and the four way flasher located in fuse/relay panel for problem. If the fuses are good replace the flashers to correct the problem. Hope this will help you.

Cant find the turn signal flasher in my 1994 Mazda B-3000

If my memory serves me, the flasher unit is hidden behind the glove box or behind the drivers left kick panel and can look just like a relay but will only have two or three connections where a relay can have upto 5 connectors. The flasher unit will also be marked with the maximum number and wattage of lamps that unit is designed to operate.

I need a fuse panel diagram to replace the turn signal flasher. Thanks

Before replacing the flasher does the hazards work, Try wiggling the turn signal lever up and down and back and forth with the key on and the lever in each position. If the blinkers or hazards start flashing you'l need a multifuntion switch. This isnt a definative test if you get nothing you may have a blown fuse. As fas as the flasher goes, go buy one and then you will know what it looks like.

Where is my falsher relay located? I have a 1998 Toyota Camry CE. HELP!

With your key on give a left or right turn signal. Try to listen and pinpoint the clicking of the turn signal flasher. Once you locate the turn signal flasher, your hazard flasher will look just like this and should be mounted nearby, typically next to it. The flasher simply pulls out and the new one just pushes in
