Did you try the electrical wires on your gearbox? There should be a electrical connector on the gearbox somewhere and sometimes these come off or break and are easily replaced.

There should be 2 fuse boxes, one on the side of the dash, or under it, the other one under hood. If the fuses are good, It might be the back up light switch on the side of the tranny.

check fuses first then check the bulbs if the fuses are ok. Then you should check whether the reversing light switch is functioning ok.

No reverse lights on my meriva bulbs ok fuses ok what can it be

Hi
Try the microswitch on the gear lever / gear box which should make contact and illuminate the reversing lights when reverse is engaged. It could be loose, faulty, misaligned etc
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

Reverse lights not working for a chev lumina 2007

You checked the reverse bulbs, too?
If so, then it could be the switch on the gear shift or the wire between that and the bulbs.

Reversing lights don't work.

On the side of your transmission will be a switch with several wires coming out of it. This is your reverse switch that turns on your reverse lights and most likely needs to be replaced

Fuse

There is no fuse for the reverse light alone. Are the bulbs ok? If yes then you must check for power at the reverse light switch on the transmission. make sure when reverse is engaged you have power in and out of the switch. If your car is auto then probably your inhibitor swicth is faulty.
Cheers.
