If it's the blower motor, the vacuum pump has to be moved out of the way(10 mm bolts) . There are three or four 8mm bolts holding the motor in place. make sure you have power and ground to blower motor before replacing.

The blower on my a/c quits working, then starts again, then quits...and so on?? is my blower going out or something unplugged?

if it does this on any fan speed it is most likely a bad blower motor, if it inly while on a certin speed such as full high or full low it could be the fan speed resistor located right near the fan motor, screwed into the fan housing

1997 jeep wrangler se,fan for a/c and heat quit.all fuses seem good.any other relays or switches jeep have had probs with?

If it only works on Hi, then your resistor is blown. If you can pull the connector to the blower fan and use a voltage tester to find voltage there with the fan switch turned on then it's the blower motor. If there is no voltage there, then its the switch on the dash. Usually the resistor and the switch only die because the blower motor is about to die and is pulling more current then it's supposed to. Change the blower motor too if that's the case.

Speed changhes on it's own and now it hAS STOPPED

I would see about the blower motor resistor first, it controls the the fan speed, if its not that you probably have a bad blower motor. Good Luck

Blower fan resistor module replaced, worked for 2 days quit again

HIGH RESISTANCE IN THE BLOWER MOTOR CAN CAUSE YOUR PROBLEM, OR A BAD RESISTOR.
THERE IS NO REAL GOOD WAY TO CHECK THE RESISTANCE OF THE BLOWER MOTOR.
