SOURCE: I have a 2008 audi
There are two parts to your warranty. The drive train (engine and transmission) and bumper-to-bumper (everything else). The drive train warranty is usually longer than the bumper-to-bumper warranty. If your vehicle is still under the bumper-to-bumper warranty, they should replace the bulb for free. This is the way it worked out on my Ford Escort so I would hope Audi would do the same.
