I have a 1999 gmc sonoma which I recently had clutch replaced however it still won't go into gear. Any suggestions as to what else it cold be?

did you have it pro replaced? If so, you should take it back to them. How long is your warranty? If you personally replaced, you need to check the service manual. Here is the owner manual

1997 sonoma - clutch bleeding

I just did mine 2 days ago. There is a allen wrench spot on the back of the slave unit in the front of ******. You need one person with a good leg to get in truck and start pumping clutch one person under truck with allen wrench to loosen and tighten screw. Guy inside needs to pump maybe like thirty times up and down before it pays to open bleeder on slave unit. The guy inside needs to hold down clutch while the guy opens watches then closes bleeder. then guy from inside needs to go under hood to make sure the resevour still has enough fluid. It takes brake fluid in resevour. You don't want the resevour to run low on fluid or you will have to start all over. I had a small leak in the line leading to slave cylinder were I lost fluid and that's how I got air in system make sure you don't have any leaks. Good luck I know it works I have more clutch know then a year ago when I had the slave unit changed.

I have a 99 gmc sonoma that won't go into gear and there is no presure on the clutch pedal it goes straight to the floor but the fluid level is still on full and the fluid has some black looking gunk...

It is confirmed that the clutch hydraulics has faulted. Since there is no clutch the gear links are not engaged. Possible that the master cylinder has failed, possible a leak in the system.
You will need to overhaul this section and the pedal will respond.
Also check on the transmission fluid and the gear settings.

1991 GMC Sonoma manual transmission won't shift into gears, won't move, is it the clutch?

Usally when the clutch is bad, you still can shift gears. Check the slave cylinder or air in the fluid line. Good luck

I have a 1997 gmc sonoma and i need to know if it has a hydrolic clutch and where i would put fluid in. if it is not hydrolic how do i get it adjusted. my clutch is right off the floor not any play at all.

the clutch in 97 sonoma is hydraulic and should not require adjustment. If the clutch is not engaging until it is completely off the floor or close to that point (friction point) then it is indicating excessive clutch disc wear and would require replacement normally. You should not have to add fluid to the clutch circuit unless there were a leak in a line, master cyl (clutch), or slave cylinder, in any case the leak would have to corrected first. the reservoir should be located near the brake reservoir normally a little to the left or the brake master cylinder and reservoir. it would look similar but be much smaller. is the engine rpm rising higher then normal during acceleration indicating possible clutch slippage. i hope this will help you, need any more help just let me know
