What sensor is next to the starter sensor in computer box

You are looking at the problem wrong.
The computer controls the sensors after they send information to the computer this regulates how the engine runs under varies conditions .
What you need to do is get the codes read auto parts stores will do this for free or buy a code reader for 40.00 bucks .
This will tell you witch sensor is bad and also erase old codes from your MIL -computer

I have a 1999 Plymouth breeze 2.0.. I just got the codes from auto zone that reads error on p0700 p1714 and p1784.. What is all wrong with my car?

P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction

For more info on P0700 go to the link: P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction
The P1714 code for your vehicle is simply an indication that the TCM has detected low battery voltage. If you have had some starting concerns or a weak/failed/diconnected battery, then that would explain why this particuar code set in memory and you can disregard it.

P1784 = Low / Reverse pressure switch circuit.
What it means is there is a problem with circuit going to one of the pressure switches in the transmission, or an internal transmission problem. The controller is turning on the low reverse clutch, but it's not seeing it's pressure switch close.
Generally it indicates a problem with the transmission solenoid pack (it contains all the actuators and pressure switches for the transmission) but it can also indicate an internal transmission problem. Diagnostics can be a bit tricky without a true scan tool and a transmission pressure gauge.
I suggest getting it looked at before it causes more serious issues

need to have the fault code pulled to see what sensor is setting the light on. autozone or advance autoparts will pull the codes for you. be sure to get the code number and brief description of code to help in diagnosing the problem.

My check engine light came on today and I stopped at a local garage. They ran a diagnostic that showed error P1529 / VIA CAN. Can you tell me what the problem is? All the notes on the web speak of just the...

Code P1529 sets in the ECM (Engine Control Module) to advise that the TCM (Transmission Control Module) requested the ECM to turn on the MIL (Malfuntion Indicator Light). What this means is there's a transmission code set in the TCM. You will need a manufacturer specific scan tool to pull Transmission codes and find out what's wrong with the trans. Some aftermarket scanners/code pullers only have the capability to pull Engine codes. -hope this helps

RAM 1500 OBD CODE p0700/p0740

I had the same problem and a friend suggested that I get a filter kit for the transmission. My dodge ram 1500 stopped pulling and had to be towed home. I got a filter kit for the transmission and now the truck is runniing good again and the transmission is shifting ok.To get the code off by going to
Auto Advance and used their code reader to erase the code. My truck has 249K on it and I know the trans will not last forever, but as long as it is running ok. I will live with the codes but make sure the trans fluids are changed every 10k.
