Question about 1993 Mercury Villager
Seems to only bog down after its warm. And only sometimes. Now it is happenening more frequently, (after warmup), could it be a clooged cat? Does my vehicke have the two cat sys with one off the block and on center? Or could it be mass airlflow meter or PCV?
Please help! ArghhhhhH!
A dirty photo cell in the distributor usually causes this on this vehicle. Remove distributor cap, rotor button, and remove the metal plate. You will see a wheel with small holes in it on the outside of it,you will probably see and oily film on it. Get some electrical cleaner and and spray it down and either blow it dry with light compressed air or just let it totally air dry. Then put it back together and see if it does not solve your problem.
