Does the vehicle appear to be sitting level? Do you hear any pump like noise when you turn the key to just on, not start?

Are you in snowy weather? If so, did it start about time snow arrived or next day or 2?

Check for possible fuse blown, and check manual for any explanation of what flashing may mean. Other than that, it could be anything from one of the leveling sensors acting up, to a small leak, or faulty pump. If you think of it, try going to car wash & spray good behind each wheel as far as you can reach with wand, just in case it's something simple like debris caught or wedged in near sensors, or links. Give it a day or 2 and see if it goes out if not, you may have to get it on a hoist, and have all the links & sensors checked for proper movement.

Have a shop that makes tail shafts check the operating angles of the u-joints and the diff pinion angle. What looks minor camage may hide significant under carriage damage that alters the angles of the diff pinion and alignment with the rear of the transmission.

92 dodge dakota brake light abs light stuck on

ABOVE "Answers??" are only 1/2 correct ! Reason is:#1 doesn't help if you have 89-93 Dakota with ABS on REAR 2 wheels only. #2 is wrong BECAUSE ANY loss of brake fluid to rear leveling block sensor(located within frame above rear axle) will trigger cpu to keep abs light on=NOT electrical.#3 is worthless because it does not address brake fluid problem/air in system only(probably how to clear/read code by turning ignition switch). Answer=:Turn ignition key to just before start 3 times and wait a couple of sec for abs light to blink. Count # of blinks between pause and write down CODE ie 4 blinks=#4 pause 7 blinks=#7 the example code= 47. Look up code and read problem;CLEAR code by disconnect battery for 5 min to let cpu erase code. If spongy pedal or need fluid; bleed at all wheels PLUS at rear leveling block contained in frame(it has a small bleeder valve too and hard to get to!). If you have later models from 1995? with new system III you will need code reader/tester. P.S. If you have a parasitic electrical leak(battery goes down over 1-3 days) check fillament(sic) on rear bulbs. One could be broken and lay against other. Bulb will work most of time BUT WILL BE PARTIAL SHORT-therefore draining battery! Good luck-Rick

The low tire light comes on on the dash. I checked my tire pressures and they are fine. I can reset the light but about 2 or 3 minutes into driving it comes back on and tires are fine. What else can cause...

Tire light should blink 3 times to ensure reset. Overinflation will set it off. Those tires should be at 32psi. Don't forget the spare if it's a full size, it has a sensor too.

Lexus ls400 how to repair headlight leveling indicator light will not go off

I don't think the alternator have anything to do with the head light leveling,I have the same problem and believe it's a sensor,or wiring, and possibly when replacing the lamps or lens the car needs to be level.

I just purchased new back springs that i no are air equiped but was wondering if i need to do anything to them before i put them in, like add air? or just install them as is?

install them as is, the compressor (if functioning correctly) will fill them up to specified ride height (if leveling sensor working correctly). good luck!

Leveling light on in my cadillac catera

Most likely a leak on one of the air shocks or a faulty control module. Replacement air shocks are available through Monroe, part number MA825.

Leveling light

The solution is usually either a leaking rear air shock or a faulty ride control module.

Leveling light comes on and blinks

The leveling light is when the catera is trying to adjust it's back end based on weight, so whenever the light comes on you need to park your car and wait until it turns off. If it begins to blink do the same thing. If it doesn't go off in 5 min then go get it checked out by a mechanic, because something could be broken. It is in the manual if this does not make sense.
