2004 Accord EX V6 - Battery/Short Problem

Battery continuously loses charge. Have replaced battery and hasn't solved the problem. May go several days, even a couple of weeks without a problem. Then may happen several days in a row. Almost as if there's a short. Possibly in the key cylinder or steering column ... don't know. There's been no aftermarket products installed. Anyone else having/had this problem???

Why does my car cuts off when i hit the brake.my battery is full.my radio does not work and i have no blown fuses.but when my car shuts of and i get a jump my cars back and running and as soon as i hit the...

I would have the alternator checked,if the battery is going down, then the car will die when the bake is applied because of vacuum lose during deceleration, and no charging system .Replace the alternator, and charge the battery up with a 2amp charge over night.

if the battery you installed was charged and was up to at least 12 volts,it should have turn the engine over quickly, since you still had to jump a good battery to get started, you must have a starter dragging, you will need to change it

Charging problem.. Wont charge battery

The instructions for installing a new alternator usually read to fully charge the battery (12.3 - 12.8 volt range). Otherwise, the alternator will be damaged when it initializes. I have seen some extreme damage result from installing a new alternator with a low-charge battery. The torque required to turn an alternator when damaged in this scenario is unbelieveable!

Sputtering Belt in Engine. Slow shifting into gears.

Change the belt it sounds like it may be split somewhere.Just remove it and inspect it .

90% of all transmission problems are due to a defective battery. Why? because of the electronics they run off of. Now is it crank no start or no crank condition.
Start off with battery. Make sure its fully charged and terminals are a-ok. Then do starter checks . Let me know what you got at this point ,, cause chances are if battery died the codes are lost . Keep me posted I
'll get you threw it.

Electrical loss of battery charging

sounds like you have shorting to ground, check the ignition switch , or melted wires, bad connections, something is causing a short when ignition is forward, could be a radio or any other electrical hook up ,tests with a volt meter will need to be done to check for continuity when there should not be and other
test will need to be done to start to eliminate possible causes
