Question about 1999 Daewoo Lanos
Wheel Bearing... if you keep driving it with a bad wheel bearing you could tear out the whole front end. Get it looked at :D My husband has a 99 daewoo and ours just went out. It was like a rubbing, grinding sound.

Could be a bad bearing or a brake dragging. Roll the car slowly with the engine off. Walk beside the car and if you hear the noise, you'll be able to tell more about it if the engine is off. Try pushing on the brake pedal as the car is being pushed and see if the noise changes.
If it does, then you can eliminate one cause.
