Re: service light comes on
You can take it to a part store and they will hook it up to one of there computers and tell you the code for the light. But if all is running good I very sure its the O2 sensor. When and o2 sensor goes out, the light will come on but the car will seem to run fine.

First have ur engine DEGREASE and pressure wash to check where could be the leak coming from, u could just go to ur garage service or anyone has a HiGH PREASSURE washer just to dislodge the oil from ur engine!
U have to check the FRONT CRANKSHAFT OiL SEAL, valve cover gasket, and the (ignition)distributor oil seal(this is the area usually where oil coming out from Honda cars)
if your vehicle does not have the optional Drive Imformation( DIC) do the followig.
1.with the ignition key ON, but the egine OFF , fully push and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within five seconds.
- the Change Engine Oil message should be off
- If the Change Engine Oil message comes back on, the engine oil life monitor has not reset, Repeat the procedure.
If your vehiclehas the optional ( DIC ), do the following:
1 turn the engine ON, with the engine OFF.
2 press the MODE button until the DIC reads OIL LIFE LELT/ HOLD SET TO RESET
3. press and hold the SET button until 100% is displayed. You will hear 3 chrimes and the Change Engine Oil message will go off.
if the Change Oil message comes back on, the system has not reset, Repeat the procedure.

your airbag light, engine light, speedometer and rpm come from computer, the oil should come from engine directly.
The only connection that these have in common is the cluster itlself. sounds like a voltage regulator problem or maybe something like a friendly mouse in the car, they can wreck havoc on an electrical system.
One other possibility, the oil pressure switch may be connected to the computer to shut down engine if there is a loss of oil pressure....I would probably start there. I looked in my book here and I do not see any connection from oil pressure to PCM, but mybe something that is mid year change in you car or some thing along those lines....worth looking into
