My mercury cougar 2.5L 2002 dont start look like no fuel go to the engine. before check the fuel pump is any fuse o relay can I check?

Check a part called an Inertia switch. Do a Web search for photos and location which is usually in the trunk or in the front by the floor kickpanels. This part has a reset button on it and when pressed it will reconnect the fuelpump power.
