Question about Hyundai Motor 2003 Elantra
I dont know what happened but the lever to lock the door seems to be stuck and the door wont lock! My car just got broken into! How can this be fixed? any quotess?
You need to take the door trim panel off there is a retainer on a rod / check the inside handle / but you need to take off door trim to check to seeif the rod is connected to the latch and handle/ Please rate my response thank you very much

Same thing happened with mine. It turned out that the
power door lock motor went out. Since the handle or the switch can unlock the
driver's door, both of these mechanisms are connected. When the door lock motor
goes out it freezes in whatever position, it was last engaged.
