I have a 1992 Dodge Dakota. The fan has quit and I suspect it may be a fuse problem. Where is the proper fuse for the fan located?

1992 Dodge Dakota 2wd 3.9L V6 Air conditioning/Heater dosent blow? when i turn the air or the heat on i can hear the compressor kick on but it dosen't blow cold or hot? any help would be appreciated

Roger it sounds like the blower motor is not comming on. There is a resistor network located in the engine compartment on the passenger side mounted to the firewall, that controlls the blower motor. The connections may have corroted or the unit itself is bad. That was the first thing I had to relpace when I got my used 92 Dakota. There is also a 30 amp fuse in the fuse box under the dash board . If that is blown I would suspect the blower motor is seized up or just pulling too much power.

1992 dodge dakota heaterstopped working

More details are needed however it is most commonly, the fan motor. Be sure to check your coolant level as well. If the fan still works and your coolant level is good, then you may want to check the heater control valve, located on the hoses to your heater core. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

Have you checked the blower motor resistor. Usually locate in the blower box with a plug on it. Has 2 bolts holding it in. Take out and inspect.

I need to know which fuse to put in my 1992 dodge dakota pickup and which place to put it.

Which Fuse are you needing to Change? The Fuse Box is Located Under Your Dash Board on The Drivers Side. If you still have the Fuse Box Cover it will have a Diagram of what fuse goes where and for what each fuse is Used For. From: WYOCWBOY

Need radio fuse location for 1992 Dakota,

Hello,
You will have a fuse box cluster under the dash of the Dakota. Its under the steering column, over near where the e-brake is, the fuzes are labeled either on the back of the box or on the front where the fuze amperages are. I blew a fuze in mine. Just, clip it down from the dash, or look up under, it says radio and there you go, just pull it out and replace with the same amperage fuze and your good to go... Hope this helps.

Fuse

I would first suspect a short in the cooling fan.

1992 Dakota heater problem??

The fan generally is located under the dash on the passenger side... while you are there you will notice a couple wires plugged into the side of the duct work near the fan... that's your resister block for the fan speeds... it's likely failed... remove the two or three screws holding it in... unplug the connecter and replace it.
