Power wash your engine and get as much of the oil/grease off as you can. then go to an auto parts store and pick up some dye for your oil (they'll know what you're talking about) follow the instructions on the bottle. Run your car for a while, then look where the color showed up on your engine...leak found!!

My 2004 nissan pathfinder is burning oil. only 100,000 km. what could the problem be?

Its either leaking or burning it---look for any signs of oil in the cooling system or water in the oil---could be a gasket going bad somewhere.

if a leak it has to with that much oil loss show somewhere.

I would if you cannot locate it act quickly and have a mechanic look at it before it becomes major or fatal issue.

Leaking coolant from head gasket area and valve

Well the head gasket job will cover the valve cover gasket ( you have to do one to get to the other) Bring it to a repair shop its about a $1500 job.

Engine Oil Leak

Crankshaft oil seals
Camshaft oil seals
Rocker cover gasket
Sump gasket
Power steering Pump
Power steering rack/box
If you cant find the leak give the engine a good wash down , makes it easier to spot the leak.

2004 nissan pathfinder fan noise

I had the same problem in my Pathfinder a couple months ago. It's most likely your fan clutch. I had mine replaced, and the noise went away. And it seems that it is the cold weather causes this.

Not all coolers look like radiators. I wouldn't think it should cost that much. Try somewhere else.
