Took it to get new fuse. Checked fuses and all were good. The clock is on the console. It is not attached to the radio. All other lights and radio seem in working order.

Radio, clock and accessory power not working

Doubt it.
All three components involve a circuit not connected with the key switch. IE this circuit is hot at all times.
If you have the owners manual look at the fuses again. May be fuses under the hood too.

I have a 1999 Chrysler 300m & I want to know what happen to the clock on my dash, it just stopped working one day. I HAVE checked fuses and I even took the dash apart to check and make sure it didn't...

At the clock, if the PINK wire has power and the BLACK/LIGHT GREEN wire has ground, then the clock is bad. Maybe rap on it, it could have just gotten stuck? You dont have to buy a new one, a used one is OK.

Clock not working

Yup, if the aux fuse is OK then the clock most likely went bad internally. Unfortunately, many clocks of this vintage go bad over time. I offer a reasonable repair service and many clock removal instruction sheets at www.autoclockrepair.com
I'd be happy to assist.

most of the time there is another fuse that shares another function such as the clock light so you cant see it, it might be on but not light up to see it, go through all the fuses and check if anything else is not working ie interior light etc. if all fails check the bulb in clock then get a multi meter to check for a power supply to the clock. im sure another fuse some where

In dash display with clock, radio station indicator and outside temp.doesn't work, just all of sudden...Everything else is O.K.

My audio and clock display stopped working all of a sudden. The audio system still worked fine. I had all my fuses checked previously and was told it could cost up to $800 to fix by Mazda. I pulled out fuse 31 and wiped it clean, reinserted it and now my display works as good as new. Thanks to those on this site for your help.

Radio/clock will not work. fuse 10 amp is good

There is usually 2 power sources to that stereo, one for when key on & one constant for radio memory & clock, you know that right? Check for that& Make sure it has good ground also. Use another ground source from back of stereo to metal just to be sure, if no luck, probably time for new stereo.

have you checked to see if it is getting power. If it is just go get a new universal one, and replace it. Also, check inside at the bottum. It could have a dime or penny stuck in the bottum. If it doesn't have power start withthe fuse. You can find the fuse size and location by pulling the fuse box lid. There is a diagram that should tell you where your peticular fuse goes.

Hi,

If you have verified that the fuses are OK, then the only possibilities left are:
1. the fuse holder itself or the contacts that holds/locks the fuse specifically for the clock and music display; or
2. the connector that goes from fuse block to the clock and music display.

Alternately, you may want to check on the grounding of the dashboard and/or the clock and music display assembly/circuitry.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
