If no hum when you cycle key to on (not start) as usual, then yes, it may be pump. This may sound funny but there have been times when a good bang on the bottom of the tank with a rubber hammer or similar, has kicked it back in, to get you where you want to go in an emergency. Don't forget to check all fuses & relays for power too.

Have the cat converter check as it may be blocking the exhaust system at high speeds . Check for fuel system fault not allowing the tank to vent correctly as you may be getting a vacuum in the tank not allowing the pump to suck fuel through to the engine.

Sound like you are sucking air in through a leak in the suction line [the one from the tank to the ingection pump].A leak in the return line will actually leak fuel but nit the suction line. You should check to see if it has a prefilter, not all do but if you do have odds are it's never been changed.

Van has to sit overnight after long idle, in order to start.

See if the vents on your gas cap is clogged up. The gas cap could cause the fuel tank not to vent properly, causing fuel issues

No horsepower

Check your fuel pressure as the fuel pump may be failing. It should have 60-66 psi at the test valve when you switch the ignition on without cranking the engine (as the fuel pump makes the humming noise)

Van runs great until it heats up. generally about 15-20 min.

i would check to see if your fuel pump is working properly maybe first try replacing the fuel filter and running a fuel treatment.
