I have the same problem with both my brake lights not coming on. Only difference is its the 1500 model. All the Fuses are good and Ive changed out the bulbs. I behind the brake pedal to make sure everything was ok and it was. I was not able to disconnect the plug where they splice off at the back of the truck to clean the prongs. Is that back splitter box the problem??

Check the connector in the rear underside of the truck. This is where the lights split to go to the driver side light and the passenger side light. The third light will still work because it is coming from another wire. Pull the connector and clean with some electronics cleaner or alcohol. This is something that should be recalled but has not been as of yet. I was pulled over because of this same problem, luckily with just a warning from the cop.
