Question about 1995 Dodge Ram 2500

I bought a new fuel pump for 95 dodge van 3500. the electrical connection doesn't match. The new pump has 5 round male prongs and the van has 6 flat male prongs. the part store says they can't get an adapter.

I would say they sold you the wrong fuel pump

Van stops running


You need to look at your fuel pump it does not pump to specification when it gets hot. You might just have to replace it.

Well you are not ALONE .....my 06 3500 does the same thing. no left turn or brake lite on towing. would love to know the solution before taking an AXE to it!!! thank you jesse
