You will have to remove your driver's airbag in order to replace the switches. If the wiring is not damaged you can reuse it so the steering wheel won't have to come off. The new switches come with wiring just carefully remove the switch from the connectors.

How do I remove the rear door panel from a 2004 Buick Rainier

If dog ate the old ones, trim away old remaining material and gently pry the panel away from the door's edge. You should be able to see the shaft of the plastic retention clips which are just push-fit into door.

Driver window won't operate

Checking to see if you have power to the D/S window is where I start after checking the fuses. this is easy to do with a voltmeter or a test light. after establishing that the switch does in fact have power going to it you should then test the switch you will need a wiring diagram:
http://www.justanswer.com/uploads/carhelp4u/2009-05-14_204210_2009-05-14_164422.png
checking the power "in" or positive terminal to see if it is receiving power will be the next step in trouble shooting the issue. if there is no power going to the switch then you need to check the specified wire to insure that it has not been compromised. usually when there is no power to a door switch it is because the power/ ground has been folded too many times in the door frame and becomes broken.

I have a 1989 cadillac seville and all of a sudden , the cruse control stop working and when I'm tring to start the car the information center says, wait 3 minutes , then I can start it.

the cruse and the wait to start are most likely not related, the systems are not in common and use to completely different control systems.

lets start with the cruse, what we see fail the most is the cruse switch in the steering collum and this is easy to check if you have access to a automotive scanner, all you need to do is run a switch test with the scan tool, if you don't have a scanner then it would be in your best interest to take this problem to a shop.

the wait to start, is because the pass key system in the car did not recognize the key when you stuck it in the key lock cylinder, this could be just a worn key, or it most likely is a worn key lock cylinder, we replace many of them each year so i think i would try a new key first if the paoblem persists then replace the key cylinder.

Ive replaced the brake lite switch twice on my 1996 grand chrokee -when the cruse control is on it will only engadge if i lift up on the brake pedel-but soon as the pegel drops it turns off the cruse...

the brake light switch is part of your cruise control circuit. check the adjustment. it should be threaded so that you can change the depth on it. probably not your switch at all.

Brake lightswill not work aven after changing Bulbs. What could be the problem?

Need to check the brake light switch. ok down by the brake pedal there is a switch that tells the lights to turn on when you push it. almost always easy to fix and you can buy a switch aftermarket for around $10 bucks. If you have cruse control a good way to check the switch is to run the cruse con and try to get it to stop crusing by pushing the brake pedal if it keeps going thats your problem. hope this helps

Turn signals dont work at all the green arrow doesnt even come on i already replaced the flasher relay but im being told there is another one where is it

hello. check you fuse panal. look in the user manual that came with the car. it will have a fuse panal diagrame of what fuses control what. check if the twight senenal is working. it might be burned out. it will be located behind down to the right of your cruse control on off switch. wiper switch top headlight switch mid- cruse bottom. your cruse control switch and your headlight switch will have to be removed to get at the twilight sentenal switch. mabe your turn signal lights are buned out. you can replace them. you will have to remove your speedometer panal to get at them. an other posabllity is that your turnsignal switch on the steering collom isn't working. I segest that you buy the haynes repaire book. you can get it at canadiantire. and online at amazon.com. your fuse pannal should be down on the bottom left on the drivers side underneath the dashboard where your parking break is.
