I have the same problem, the speakers are "burned", you need to repair them or change them, I went to a place where repair car stereos, old tvs, etc., they "rewire" or change the wires in the back of the speaker, where regular speakers have magnet, he told me not to replace the speakers for another ones, he told me that this ones are Alpine (they don´t have any label) speakers and that they are better than most commercial ones, he charge me about $50 usd, Good Luck!

Not meaning to sound like a "smart-ask", speakers usually become "blown" rather then "burned". The term blown refers to the voice coil being "open" and no longer making a complete circuit of between say 4 and 8 ohms resistance measured between the "+" and "-" terminals. No resistance at all would be an "open" and consistent with being blown. The flexible braided wiring that connects the terminals to the cone and voicecoil constantly wiggle (I have always called them "wiggle wires") and can wear out like bending a wire back and forth over and over and eventually the connection breaks. A quick check of the unplugged speaker with a ohm meter will tell the tale. They will either be open or have resistance. Zero ohms would indicate a short. One possibility is water intrusion has created rust inside and the voicecoil cannot move in and out, binding the cone in place. Gently moving (or trying to) the cone in and out will tell you if it is bound up. Simply replacing them is not a long-term fix for the bound cone condition, the replacements will only suffer the same fate as the originals. The moisture intrusion issue must be dealt with in some manner. I like to fix things once which sometimes requires a clever modification as needed. You must think beyond "they are bad so I replaced them" and on to "what caused this and how do I prevent it from happening again later on?"

I just ordered the original Philips replacement speakers (four) from Xtypeparts.com for 7.50 British pounds each shipped to the USA, $11.872 US dollars each. I also ordered from Amazon.com (2 sets) of Metra 81-4300 Speaker Baffles to handle water intrusion. They will be installed behind the new speakers. Won't have to worry about mounting holes lining up or future moisture damage. Woo Hoo!

2007 camry radio

hey, that sounds like wiring for sure, if your cd player is working fine and its just your speakers? then yes that would be a wiring problem, theres a bad wire somewhere in the system. either find out yourself where the bad wire is or bring it to someone who know how to repair those types of problems. good luck!

The television screen doesn't come on,none of the heater buttons work either for front and rear screen!I've a jaguar S type '02

Have you checked the fuses to this unit-also the relays? see the hand book for location. Next if you manage to get the push buttons to work but not the screen - try a system reset by disconecting the battery (make sure you have your radio code!) leave for 10 mins then reconect and then reload your nav cd or dvd for the screen, this may reset the screen system. Did you have a '51' message on the screen before the failure, this would point to a external temp. sensor fault which will affect the climate system.
good luck - hope this helps.
