The problem is in the bulb when you replace the bulb and you touch it with your hand be sure to wipe the bulb off before installing it in the headlight assembly because it the sweat on your hand that can blow the low beam also make sure the socket is clean and just a little grease is in it

Check tour bulbs first and replace if blown. If OK then check wiring backwards from light to dip switch.

1997 ford explorer dirver side low beam does not work?

There are two elements in every modern headlight bulb. Either the filament for the low beam has burned out, or you have an open in the wire leading to it from the headlight relay. With the low beam on, test for voltage at that wire. The other option is to switch the bulb out with the other side and see if it works. If it does, then it's just the bulb. If not, you either lost a ground, or the relay is malfunctioning. Check for loose wires, if none, look at replacing the relay.

its probally the bulb........alot of car headlights are DUAL element meaning one bulb has 2 little elements inside one for low beam one for high beam...............Most times the low beam burns out because its used more.....get it one bulb gives both high and low beams.......REPLACE bulb......if you don't know what kind go to auto part store, tell them the make of your car and they will give you the right one .....

If you have auto lamps, there is a module in the center console that cause one of the headlamps not to illuminate. you will need a test light and a wiring schematic to see if that is your problem.
