Car made weird noises and then shut off while driving now wont even turn over

check battery cables if not that check cables that go to starter

sounds like a faulty starter possibly the selinoide on the starter

With your key in the ignition, do not turn it, open the fuse panel by the drivers side door, pull out the 30amp P/CONN fuse at the very bottom (mine was in a weird yellow casing) then plug it back in. The disk drive of the radio should make a noise. Now start your Tuscon and turn on your radio.

check your battery might need a replacement and check also your alternator might be faulty and check electrical wiring from your battery,ignition going to your starter, check fuse and relay.

could be something with the timing chain system. There were some complaints about the chain slapping the cover and even a good number regarding failure for these cars. If it's anything more than a slight tick I would, or have a professional, take a look at it. If one of the guides, or the tensioner, or even a link in the chain itself let go it can spell big trouble if you try to drive it.

The ignition switch is wore out.

It could be a CV joint.

your torque converter could have went. i feel its definetly your trans. i need more input

did it make any weird noise when it stopped runnig while driving? . . maybe timing belt slipped . . does it turn over even though it wont start?
