2002 ford explorer-alarm goes off in the middle of the night...no one around Alarm goes of whenever it wants to. I don't lock my doors, because when I unlock them the alarm goes off and will not stop even with the key in the ignition. I have to unlock the door on passenger side to avoid the stupid alarm.

If the Solution that Nikki2913 suggests does not work, I have come across more than a handful of door and hood switches not working or incorrectly adjusted...drop me a message and I'll help you through some easy tests.

I forgot to ask if the alarm arms and disarms with the driver door lock cylinder (where you put the key in the lock). and if you'd been locked out and a tow service had slim jimmed your door to unlock it.

    Thanks.

At one point the door was lock from the in side and then closed and then unlocked with alarm, try un-locking it from the drivers door, then from the in side push the un-lock button and then close the drivers door. U should have no problems with it, but they do say that putting the key in the ignition and then do what you would like starting it but don't and do it 2 times and then start it will tell the alarm that it is not stolen.

Do u know that key less entry code to your drivers door?
Let me know if you would like your code that is if you don't know where to look.

My 2000 Chrysler LHS alarm goes off hours after locking doors either manually or with remote. Unlocking the driver or passenger door will shut it off but how do I correct this problem?

I do not know how to "fix" the problem to make it right, but you can disable the alarm through the relay box or fuse box. You'll lose the alarm, but can lock the car. Several may be labeled "Alarm and... try to find one that is the alarm alone or something significant, if possible. Not an answer, just an Idea.

My alarm on 2002 ford explorer goes on at random at night. Door ajar light comes on internittently. Any ideas on how to fix or disarm the Alarm?

most likely you have a door switch problem, you must take to shop to have it scanned, and they can tell you what door it is. most times it is drivers door, because that is the door that gets the most use.

Our 1998 Saturn's alarm goes off in the middle of the night, during the day and whenever it feels like. No one is around, no one is touching the key fob. The alarm came with the car new. Is there a way...

On my 99SW I had that problem once, gave it to the girlfriend and it happened twice. I replaced the driver door light switch, based on a google search result, and it has not happened again. It may be an accident but it worked, so far. It was a new switch, obtained from getsaturnparts.net

2002 Ford Explorer "Door Ajar" stays on and Alarm frequently goes

if the door ajar light is on then get a can of PB BLASTER at your local parts store and spray all the door latch assembleys really good and open and close each door about ten to fifteen times this will usually free up the ajar switch

Have you had the system checked and the codes pulled? If so and nothing was found, you can bypass each alarm trigger one at a time. If you have the patience, do this yourself and park the car where it happens. If the alarm stopsgoing off wrong, you have found the trigger and/or circuit setting it off. Sometimes this is what it takes because the system is operating in it's parameters and will not set a code? Good Luck.
