99 dodge stratus 2.4L top transmission line off of radator to put dual fan assembly in because trans line was in way now im haveing problems shifting now i changed the transmission fuild and filter

make sure you check the level of fluid in the transmission while it is running. Make sure all lines are sealed and tight. Check after each short run too. The filter will need to absorb fluid to push the air out.

Check that the Solenoid pack electrical connector is clean and secure.

We are changing the clutch in a 2001 gmc senora. taking out the transmisson, there is a line coming out of the left side that we don't know how it releases. it looks like a oil line of some sort....

That line is your hydraulic clutch line which is attached to the clutch master cylinder. Look very closely, you will see a white plastic sleeve on the metal connector at the transmission end of this hose. you will need to gently push this toward the transmission. you will have to work on many sides as this piece is flexible. Once worked in all around. the line should pull out of the transmission.

I am installing a trans cooler on a 700R trans. Which line is the return line?

most trans coolers don`t have a thermostat in them to allow quicker warm up of the trans fluid so it doesn`t matter which line is connected to the cooler as the flow will always be the same through the cooler.however the line that is at the bottom of the radiator is usually the return line and the top line is the pressure line and the fluid cools as it flows through the rad tank to the lower line.hth

I replaced the ac compressor a 97 Chevy Lumina 3.1 and everything is working right. The air is blowing through defrost vents but it is not blowing through front vents. Its a vacuum line loose that is...

The ball is a vacuum tank. It would take the active vacuum line on one side and the other would go to the vacuum line that leads to your ventilation controls. Connect a length of vacuum hose to either side and BLOW through it. If you can't blow through it, that's the side that goes to the engine since it would have a check valve to prevent the vacuum from escaping when the engine is off. If you can blow through both sides, then it doesn't matter which hose goes to which side.

Trans fluid leaking from radiator from metal lines

if you have trans fluid leaking from the radator I would check the line connections if not leaking from there than you will need a new radator or have it recondtioned.

Tranmission fluid overfill. how do I drain off excess

loosen the transmisson line the lower one preferably catch in a pan. Looses the transmisson cooler line at the bottom of the transmisson you will need a line wrench so you don't strip the nut off, after line is loose it will pump out a half quart every 30 seconds. The lines come out of the radiator.

Well i had same proplem and it is that it could be your radater is leaking or the rubber pipe to the radater is split and leaking from that. Or your cooler as got an hole in it and that is at the back off radater which as only got two pipes from it. so put some water or coolent in it and see if it is leaking that way by running the car around the block and then see if it leaks that way.
