Question about 2000 Kia Sportage
2000 Kia Sportage. Turns over but won't start. This happened right after I bought it and the dealer said it was timing, new timing belt fixed the problem for 6 months. Mechanic replaced 2 relays and it worked for about 6 months. Again replaced relays and for 6 months was ok. Now KIA dealership said fuel pump (only 34 psi). Replaced fuel pump and relays and it still won't start. I am ready to torch car. No codes show up when tested. I noticed the car sputtering on take off before this happens. Check Engine light on also. HELP!!!!!!
K is there power to fuel pump? yes,,, check grounds..... NO check relay only get kia relays for main and fuelpump since o2s run on the same relay,..... if relay is good suspect comp.... mine has same problem with no power to fuel pump i have now traced problem to ecu sux but at least it has a new fuel pump and relay lol.....
