Sentra 1.8 do you think that it might be my fuel pump making it surge like that, it did it to me again last night while driving home.

Thanks, i will try the B12 chemtool and hopefully that will work - its kind of aggravating when you're driving and your car feels like its going to die but i take my foot off the accelator and then it's fine.

I would try the B12 Chemtool First. If the Fuel pump is trying to go out it Usually would have done it By now. You might also Replace the Fuel Filter. It really sounds like that there is something Clogging the Fuel System. If this is the Problem the B12 with Clear it up. There are a LOT of things out there for this But, This one IS the Best. Been a Mechanic for 35 Years and this is what I use. Better to pay 4.00 for a Can of this than 135.00 for a Fuel Pump if that is not the Problem.

2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R Cranks but won't start!

It could be the fuel system.
It could either flooding or starving for fuel.
If injectors are fouled badly it will wet the plugs and not fire.
If plugs are pitted that makes it easier to flood. (check plug tip condition, check all plug wires and boots are good)

If it is starving -- fuel pump weak (going to fail).
Need to test fuel pump pressure.

That means bad injectors, or defective fuel pump, you probably need to replace the fuel pump.

disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter or the fuel rail which ever is easier to get too, then try to start the car if it sprays fuel it is not the pump if it does not then you know it is the pump.
