97 dodge 1997 dodge ram 1500 . i hooked up to the computer and it read e2 sensor .do tou think it could be fuel pump or something else. it wont start.what is a e2 sensor
Try WD-40 in air intake of throttle body, with plate slightly open, then try to start. If it fires up & runs for a second or two, you have a fuel delivery problem.

no idea ,if i was around the corner i would soon sort it thats for sure its only a car with 4 wheels and a engine although i have never seen one before.if you have no spark then this could stop the fuel for safety reasons so start by checking the crank sensor ,take it off and use a multi meter on millvolt setting and somehow touch the two contacts and move a spanner over the head of the sensor and see if the meter reads ,should be about 2.something volts ,dont think that the gauges are a related problem but its possible their is fuse out or dirty contacts on the fuse holder ,as i said if i was around the corner i would have a coffee and a ciggy kick it up the exhaust swear at it and iam sure it would go when i got my hammer out .
COULD BE A BAD FUEL PUMP EVEN THOUGH ITS NEW, TRY THE FUSES IN THE MAIN FUSE BOX UNDER THE HOOD, ALSO TRY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY CABLES FOR ABOUT 5 MINS, LASTLY IT MAY BE THE ECM [computer on fire wall]
HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEWHAT
