The remote start is tied to the Lift Hatch. Your vehicle was likely not locked, so when you double clicked the lift hatch, it did what it is supposed to do and opened the hatch. If that is not the case, take it to a remote / alarm installer to check the programming.

You will need the dealer to scan the system for faults in the remote starting system which i assume is factory installed not aftermarket junk.

You will need to have the ignition barrel removed and replaced with a new one.

first of all, it's friday the 13th, second of all, the key has probably worn down from repeated usage, try to use the other key. my primary key doesn't open my escalade's doors, but the secondary one works

The fuse must have blown. Please check an replace. The fuse box is below the dash on the driver's side.
