Wires disconnected for license plate light on 1994 gmc sierra

There should be a pigtail connector for trucks with or without rear bumpers. Did you look in the harness for a brown wire ?
Same as the marker lights.

What fuse controls/powers the license plate lights on a 2001 gmc sierra 2500hd????

look under your vehicles hood on the drivers side, and you should see 1 -2 black box's, these have fuses / and relays inside, remove the plastic covers, and there should be information / diagram explaining what they are and where they are located.

Do the new Sierra 1500 trucks 2007-2010 have a full size spare tire?

Yes. The spare tire is located under the bed in the rear of the vehicle. You have to use the handle of the jack to lower it down. There is a place in the bumper next to the License plate that you stick the jack handle in to lower the tire down.

My 2007 GMC Z71 Has no taillights or license plate lights. However my brake , hazard, and turn signals all work. What happened?

The tailight markers and plate lights are wired together. A fuse to the marker lights or sometimes called, park lights, may be blown. You may have a naked hot wire rubbing metal. Sometimes SUV's have trouble with trailer light plus also that ground out the circuit.

When dash lights don't work odds are the tail lights don't work either.Sounds like Dimmer switch may be a problem.

Plate lights on 2003 gmc sierra

these lights are fused with all other tail lights so if all other lights are good then problem is in the lic plate lights themselves or the wiring to them

License Plate Lights

Probably not... For some reason license plate light wiring and sockets are VERY prone to corrosion. Make sure to check the light sockets and try to get to the wiring close to them, your problem is more than likely very close to the lights.
