Question about 1987 Ford Merkur XR4Ti

Firing order I'm working on a 85 ford merkur 2.3 turbo and don't have any book on it, I need the firing order if anybody out there happens to know it, it was being worked on before me and I assumed it was where it was suppossed to be when I got it but it's definatley out of whack, the rotor has two different positions it can be placed at... any suggestions? thx

for a book on your car, here is USA we dont have TATA's
zero.

have you seen if you are getting spark? also have you turned engine until top dead centre and looked to see when your rotor button is firing to make sure you are firing on number one cylinder?

Firing order for 92 plymouth laser


For the 1992 Plymouth Laser:
I do not know if you have the 1.8L SOHC or 2.0L DOHC (or Turbo) In-Line 4-Cylinder Engine; however I have included both below.

For the 1.8L SOHC In-Line 4-Cylinder:

Need the firing order for a 1989 merc cougar xr7 turbo 4-- 2.3l


1989 Mercury Merkur Xr4ti 2.3 liter SOHC Turbo L4 VIN "W"

Firing order: 1-3-4-2
Cylinder# Radiator to firewall: 1-2-3-4
Distributor: Clock wise #1 is located by the 1 O'clock position and the next one over is Cylinder #3, 5 O'clock position.

you really need a book with diagrams to do this my sugestion is that you buy a manual from the parts store. hayes or chilton manuals are desent
