Is there still Tension on the Belt? If so, You will need to find Something that will Push the Pulley in the Lower Position so that you can remove the Belt. Not going to be Easy and you will need a Helper for this Job. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

There should just be a Couple of Bolts on the Bracket to get this Removed. I suggest to Everyone that Works on their Own Vehicles to Invest in a Haynes or Chilton Repair Book for your Car. They help a Lot. Some Libraries Carry these if you do not want to Buy them. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

Is the thread on the 95 Park Ave tensioner a reverse thread ?

i`m guessing you mean the serpentine belt tensioner.the thread for the bolt that holds it to the motor is right hand thread not left hand(reverse) counter-clockwise to remove clockwise to tighten.

Is there an adjustable pulley on the 1996 Buick Park Avenue that lets you replace the belt?

Hello... Yes there is an adjustable pulley.... It is called a belt tensioner. You can find it, with the engine off, pull up on each pulley. The one that moves the most is the tensioner...

To release the tension on the belt, a special tool or a 3/8 or 3/4 in rachet is used...

Once the tension is released, the belt is easily removed and installed.

Good Luck....

1998 Buick Park Avenue, replaced serp belt, but now no tension.

Hello. The tension can be adjusted. Just loosen the tensioning pulley, use a crow bar to put tension on the serpentine belt and tighten that tensioning pulley back down. Joe

Assemble a 1993 park avenue serpentine belt

If the stickers haven't been removed, there is a routing diagram right on top of the radiator cowling or on the right front inner fender. One of your pulleys is a spring loaded tensioner that you move with a breaker bar or rachet or a box-end wrench, depending on the style of tensioner.

How do I change the main serpentine belt on a supercharged 99 park avenue ultra?

On your idler pulley there is a 15mil bolt... put a wrench on this bolt (long wrench) and turn it like you are turning it tighter. The idler pulley will move forward releasing tension on your belt. Make sure you pull the belt off the alternator pulley when the idler pulley is compressed. You may want to pay attention to how the belt is on there, maybe 2 people would be a good idea too if you aren't familiar with your car.

Because the bolt should not be sticking out of it.. Have it tightened before it comes off and causes damage to crankshaft or soeones windshield. Soon. Good Luck, Ned

95 buick park ave power steering pump bolts

I think any dealer would have these on hand; if my memory is working right, these did have to be a specific class and will need to be torqued carefully to avoid stripping the female threads.
