Sounds like you may not have all of the air out of the system. one way you can bleed the system is to fill the resivoir start your vehicle and turn the wheel all the way to the right count to ten then the same to the left. shut off your vehicle and check fluid level. if it look realy foamy let it sit a wile. repeat and your problem should be solved.

It is full of fluid right? Squeeze the return line to the pump with a pair of pliers. If the pump wines when you do this the rack is the problem. If the pump doesn't wine, the pump is bad

Power steering pump wines and stiff like when

If front end steering linkage and ball joints are free, likely the pump has worn out and is not making enough pressure.

This is most likely the power steering pump that you hear. Check the fluid level to be sure it is full. If the fluid is full then the pump is going out. Hope this helps. Good luck.

As mentioned check ps fluid. If it wines when turning and still no power then the pump is internally bad.. If the fluid is dissapearing fast then its a hose or most likely a leaking rack& pinion assembly..

Wine in power steering, I put in new fan belt, power steering pump, new rack

The wine will be there until the fluid bleeds out all the air.If it does not, then have the power steering pump replaced again, and be sure to flush the system with a good power steering flush. But the remanufatured pump is most likely the problem. The pump had a flaw that the rebuilder didn`t see.Do make sure the lines are not kinked anywhere.

Steering gear or pump.

Likely the pump is going away. Not a bad idea to replace the belt as well but the noise is likely from internal wear. Changing the fluid is a good head start to the pump replacement.

sounds like air in the system. jack up front of bronco so both wheels are off the ground start up and turn steering wheel back and forth untill all the air comes out, and add fluid as needed. when air is gone winning will go away. be patent it may take a while.

1983 coupe deville powersteering wineing

you might have just gotten your lines crossed backwards when you do a steering pump with line change out the fluid doesnt stay with the steering gear box
start vehicle after filling the pwsp.
turn wheels both directions for at least a minute with pwsp. cap off watch the fluid if lowers then its going to gear box where its required to stay the wineing is something the box does when its brand new it has to broken in like shoes propper fluid is a plus
