We have a 2007 grand caravan a/c problem. yes it does front and rear heat and air. One day the air worked the next it didn't. Had the coolant checked (freon) it's fine checked the fuses and...

Check the cut out switches in the A/C system.
Id take wires and apply 12 vdc to the compressor terminals to see if compressor clutch engages.
If it doesn't then you may need new clutch kit.
If it does, then you need to find the switch(s) that allow voltage to reach compressor and test them.

Hope this helps...

What kind of antifreeze do i use for a 2006 grand prix

Your car was likely manufactured with GM DEX-COOL coolant. If it has been changed to universal you may use any universal coolant.

If the coolant in the coolant reserve tank is orange you should use genuine DEX-COOL which should be able to get from your local auto parts supplier.

All the best.

Getting hot changed thermastat stil over heating

The lincoln requires using a vacume tool to put the coolant back into the system this removes air from the cooling system which causes air locks and overheating. This is the first place to start. Then testing the electronics will be required to test the cooling fans and related electronics.

I get an intermittent "Coolant Sensor Bad" The FSM is clear, Bad mean the line to the coolant bottle switch is open.

The coolant sensor and the coolant level sensor are two different sensors. Your message center is showing (coolant sensor bad),not level sensor bad.
The level sensor only monitors the amount of coolant in the container
The coolant sensor senses the degrees of the coolant, which turns on the electric cooling fans. Change the coolant sensor, and the problem should go away.

If drain is difficult to reach or won't open properly, remove the lower radiator hose. You can easily drain system from there. Make sure you use a good drain pan and that the engine is cool. Once removed coolant comes out really fast from there.
