Hi mobilemick it was the ones inside the car it is my sons car and he dealt with the auto guy do you think he has picked up the guy wrong and it should have been brown reilys under the bonnet that should have been change i cant get hold of him to ask exactly the guy told him

  • fulton742 Feb 01, 2009

both yellow and black relays can be removed, cars not even turning over. auto electrican said he ran new wire from lamba sensor to immobiliser. have you an idea of the fuse that could be causing the problems described

  • Mick Partington May 11, 2010

The fusebox insode the car does have relays, but they cant be removed from the fusebox,

Has he checked the fuses, There is one in there that controls all the symptons you describe,

  • Mick Partington May 11, 2010

the fusebox inside the car, or the one under the bonnet

  • Mick Partington May 11, 2010

    Confused now, :)

So its a 2000 megane, which relays did you change?

The ones in the fusebox inside the car ?

Ok, post the year of your vehicle, sounds like you put the black relay back in the wrong place, there are 4 slots for the black one to go in,

  • Mick Partington May 11, 2010

So you changed the ones in the fusebox inside the car

  • Mick Partington May 11, 2010

Was it the relays under the bonnet you changed, What is the red light doing now ?

1.5 diesel megane injection fault

The cheapest way to go is to change the fuel filters first and the air filter. Then I would change the crankshaft sensor.

You may have to bit the bullet , and have the fuel pump changed before the fuel injection pump. The fuel pump in the tank can be loosing pressure to the fuel injectoin pump.
I think the lesser cost is the fuel tank pump vs. the fuel injection pump.

The system runs of fuel and air. No spark like on a gas engine.

So the problem can only be lack of fuel or lack of air getting into the vehicle air induction. A restriction in fuel or air will make the engine run poorly.

Unable to open the fuel cover on Megane CC,

The cover locks with doors. It may be that there is a bad electrical contact between the feeder wire and the lock. Visit a Renault dealer or an auto electrician.

Hi my name is sarah my renault megane every things ok but the m.p.h. niddle not move;n an it;s not clocken up the mileage, but will work after be;n run but it dose flutter up an down for a bit then ok...

hi sarah your problem is related to a speedometer sensor switch located on the gearbox its an electrical speedo on the megans, its fairly handy to replace, and if you were to go into any renault garage and purchase the part by giving the year make and model any garage will fit this within 10 min cheeper than renault dealership , goodluck
