HI, i had 3 diagnostic done even from dealer, they DON'T KOW! had 2 new injectors, engine manegement lights is on, the car does not go over 50mph, before won't start on key now this problem is solved but has no power at all, if i have to go, hills or to heavy, its dropes to 20mph if im lucky, some said could be the injectors have to be re programmed, turbo valve, airflow? antipolluiton faulty cames everytime the car is on the AA said lack of power/torque+noise warning lights, possiable not programmed / calibrated p0382 glow plug p1300 plecrat p0102 massairflow circuit. do know where to starts, changed 2 injectors, the car starts fine, but no power, it could be antipolluiton light, calibrate the new injector, turbo valve or what else? thanks a lot 07702075824

    Thanks for trying, mate i don't know what else to do, spend 3 diagnostics of 60 pounds each no answer so far, spend money 2 new injector fitting, now the antipolluition light comes on, read few forums they r saying it has to be cleaning like catalizers etc... plus oils 600 pounds +!

    so, i guess never will buy a peugeot ever again had 1 406 hdi gave me the same heachach and i gave it way! maybe the best option is fire it up, if you know what i mean... very sad :/

    so do you think if i put those 5 ltr it will be resolved? do i need to change the filter afterwoods? i've changed all filters air, fuel, and oil filters as well many thanks

    So do you really think if i change the additive or get it done some how this problem it will be sorted?? after that the system has to be reprogrammed? thanks a lot!

    thanks been told that this 1.4 hdi 2003 it doesn't have this back, it called fap filter and additive.... so, what else it could be??? they are saying it just applies to bigger engine like 2.0 110 bhp! thanks a lot

I had same problems with my 307 hdi, turned out that the additive which drips into fuel was empty and changed particle filter,problems solved

    The additive cost around £30ltr you need 5ltr, take your car to a peogeot dealer they would have to reset the computer when additive is added.

Most probably blocked fap causes the problem. change the fap and fill the additive and let your car's ecu reprogrammed.
If the diesel pressure is not high enough or injectors are blocked then bad acceleration. you have to check hdi pump and injectors.
If any sensor of motor block has gone then it can very badly affect your car performance. go to a good diagnostic center who then able to read the fault codes because there are trivial meaning of fault codes in hdi case. don't go to any corner diagnostic center who just telling you the literal meaning of fault codes but can't understand how to find the roots of these faults.

Had one like this last year and it drove me nuts,customer good friend as well which made it worse,i felt like weekend boy know nothing racer mechanic.Took car to dealers as another mechanic told me its the programeing of the injectors,No 4 injector controls the rest not sure how nut it does and they fitted a new injector and programmed it and it ran fine ---COST---- 800++€ .Please dont shoot the messenger ,me!

    never heard of this must be a weekend mechanic add on,spoke to peugeot fitter and he said the rear exhaust box has a valve leading to a filter ???havent looked at one myself as its not on standard models only turbo.he said to change the back box for the standard one with out the filter built in.Dont know any more than what he told me but if its still a problem stick your head under and have a look.That is if it hasnt had argument with swan vesta

    never heard of the fuel additive thingy but on reflection this may be an add on to keep the filter in the back box clear?? evidently later models never had this filter/back box set up just an ordenary back box

    particle filter on back exhaust box?? if that was changed then it would run ok.To be truefull never heard of this additive thing but it would make sense to help keep filter clear.without having car to play with i couldnt really say but have a look at back box and if it does have a particle filter then fit a standard one.or try running car without the back box on for a quick spin and if it grives then you know what to do.

Check engine light , engine emission light . If the light is on there is a DTC - diagnostic trouble code stored in the engine computer . It takes a tool called a scan tool to hook up to the vehicles computer to read the code . Then it needs to be diagnosed by a qualified repair professional . My timen belt light an airgag light remaining on also my engine knocking in my toyota 1kd hilux

1. timing belt light- it should be due for replacement. normally the light come ON at 150,000km. once replaced you need to reset the light.
2. airbag light means there is a malfunction to the system. need to be checked by experts. the light goes off when the problem is sorted out
3.engine knocking- there could be many factors however most common could be one or two injectors are faulty. let experts/dealer with a diagnosis tester look at injector performance commonly known as injector feedback which ranges from +3 to -3

P1763 and p0303 codes for my 02 jeep grand cherokee. car is super sluggish and shakes when gets to 50mph.

no engine stated.??????????
303 is gross misfire on #3 cylinder. on all cars.
its a for sure thing, means bad combustion on #3 and its power is weak. 1763 is tranny The 7 means that. and is problem2.

ever get a 60k miles tunup this decade?
sparks plugs, spark wires, filters, air and fuel>?
spark plugs dont last life of any engine.
THE CEL blinking (oper guide tells) means that misfire
is burning the CAT converter to a crisp. (raw fuel + air does that)
the opr. guide says get it serviced, fast, dont drive fast or tow anything. all great advice in the glove box.

get a cheap tuneup, and magic can happen in most cases.
misfire has many causes. over 20.
but a tuneup not done, is 99% cause. (due to nobody doing them)
only fate , determines truth, not statistics....
for example you sucked a valve on #3..

if the new spark parts dont fix #3 a compression tests is next.
or an injector balance test say from #3 to one other injector.
all this is like 1hr work, but no engine stated, so.....

how are your tires worn, what about giving it a alignment or have the tires balanced it sounds like one of these should fix your shuttering problem

Possible causes:
- Injector 1 circuit open or shorted
- Injector 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty injector 1

1.5 diesel megane injection fault

The cheapest way to go is to change the fuel filters first and the air filter. Then I would change the crankshaft sensor.

You may have to bit the bullet , and have the fuel pump changed before the fuel injection pump. The fuel pump in the tank can be loosing pressure to the fuel injectoin pump.
I think the lesser cost is the fuel tank pump vs. the fuel injection pump.

The system runs of fuel and air. No spark like on a gas engine.

So the problem can only be lack of fuel or lack of air getting into the vehicle air induction. A restriction in fuel or air will make the engine run poorly.

Check engine light on 97 intrepid

Yes, the Computer, on your car detects, all sensors . I, would recommend going to Auto Zone,
and have a Code Reader , recheck your car after
you disconnect negative battery cable, for at least 5 minutes, will wipe out memory and reset problem codes, after you start engine. You will start a new set of any problem codes.

P.S. Auto Zone, no charge for Code Reader, a Dealer will charge at least $ 75.00 for a 5 second read ! Not !!! get it read for free.
