First off you must remove the back seat to gain access to the three mounting nuts of the upper strut mount. Then you can remove the nut and bolt that pinches the the rear spindle assembly to the lower strut. separate the two and pull the strut assembly out of the car.
Yes. and than the drum will come off. You will find that it will not move at first so take a hammer and tap, not slam, around the edge of the drum to brake the rust. It you have difficulty removing the 2 screws don't strip the heads. Take your screw driver and put it in the slot than tip it at an angle and hit the end with a hammer to apply force sideways to the screw. This will, in most cases, brake the rust and permit the screw to turn.
On most all front wheel drives the starter is located at the front side of engine where the transmission and engine connect just above the oil pan. There are three bolts two from engine side and one from transmission side. You may say more that dang while making change but it isn't a big complicated thing to do. Make sure to disconnect battery,< Positive and then Negative " always do this way>, and keep supply wires to starter together and install correctly. On the bolt setup don't quote me as they vary and this is common way for them.
