My hazards and indicators don't work on my 1985 escort xr3i

That could be a fuse or a relay failure. Both the fuses and flashers should be found under the dash on the drivers side.
Hope this helps.

I changed the battery and negative treminal for my 1995 ford escort and as soon as I hooked up the battery it blew the 100 amp main fuse under the hood. I replaced the 100 amp fuse and hooked the battery...

At a guess, I'd say that you have got the new battery in back to front. This means that you are hooking the earth wires to the Positive side of the battery.

Check all battery connections and battery condition. Check fuses and fuses in the power distribution box under the hood on left hand fender well. Hope this helps.

Having applied WD40 into the fuse box to clean it, now the indicators, heating fan and MAIN COOling Fan do not work on my 1985 Escort XR3i Cabriolet ! I have changed the fuses but the three items still do...

a bad thing to do. The oil will stop continuity to your circuits. Disconnect the ground cable to the battery and flush the oil out with solvent and let dry thoroughly overnight or blow dry with an air hose till dry and let stand for an hour. Now you can start at square one again to see what your problem may be if so

2002 Ford Escort gear shift linkage is stuck in park

It's the fuse that is blown which prevent's you from moving the gear from Park to anything else. The fuse box, on a 1995 Escort is on the drivers' side by the break pedal, I'm not sure where your fuse box is. Check the guide to see which fuse is the one for "Stop" and replace it, problem is I'm not sure what causes this and it's driving me crazy because it keeps on doing it. I've gone through so many fuses, there has to be a short somewhere...but I have no idea where.

On my ford escort 1995 the ignition is not working, i turn the key and nothing hapens the lights and radio turn on fine but it does not try to start or click or do anything, could it be the starter motor...

the fuse is in the underhood fuse/power distribution box, but doubt that is the problem, and if it is blown then there is a short in the wiring.

Lights and central locking fault

this is a similar problem to the one i had, it sounds like the fuse box may be breaking down one by one, usually means a replacement fuse box
