Question about 1999 Chevrolet Suburban

1999 Chevrolet Suburban interior lighting

My interior lights remain on after I start the motor of a 1999 Suburban. Sometimes the interior lights would flicker and go off only to turn on later by themself. I have checked all of the door light actuators and all are operational. Is this a module problem?

I have a 1999 Chevrolet suburban I change the fuel pump but it still won't start but my security light is on

Theft system has activated. Turn key on and leave on until light goes out (usually around 10 minutes) turn off then back on. Wait until light goes out then try to start it.

1999 Suburban 2500 4WD interior lights won't go off and no daytime dash light. Dome over ride button doesn't affect it. Had to remove bulbs. Have had panel lights sometimes off. Come back on after restart...

Sounds to me like your light switch is faulty, however, check and remove all the door buttons to determine this, ensure that the wire/s are connected on the buttons and that the door is butting against them when closing.{ including the tail gate} Good luck

Inside door lights stay on after engine is turned off

Check all doors for a sticking door open sense switch. Check all over-riding interior light activation switches are off. If all the above are ok, check for a sticking interior light relay.

Suburban 1999 abs light on dash on and doesn't work the a/c fan

If it is happening when you change the AC and Defroster Modes as Stated above, You have a Wire inside the Dash in this Location that has Shorted and is Grounding itselt to the Housing for the HVAC Controls. This could cause a fire. I would pull the HVAC Unit and try and Locate the Faulty wire Behind it.
