I had the same problem. Facing the car it is at the left front way down low. It does not look like a traditional dipstick. It does not have a loop on the top. Instead they have a small white ball a little smaller than a gumball. It drove me crazy trying to find this. It almost looks like some type of grease fitting. Give it a pull and there it is.

Look around the back of the engine near the firewall for the dipstick tube from the top of the engine using a flashlight. You may need to start from under the car to find the dipstick tube - I don't know this model but I do know that this will lead you to it.

What is the exact procedure for changing the transmission fluid?

Remove the transmission drain plug and drain. Close plug and refill at the transmission dip stick port. Do not over fill! Put in only the amount you take out. Don't go by the specs of the vehicles amount unless you are able to evacuate the whole system. If you want a complete change, then take it to an oil change shop.

1995 ford aspire trans axle fluid level

you should see a plug that looks different from the oil drain plug on the transmission pan, or near the bottom, on the side of the transmission.
remove, drain. You refill through the dipstick tube for trans fluid.
If it's a manual trans, there will be another plug higher up on the trans.
this one will be the fill plug.
Also on the manual trans, some people just remove the shifter and add fluid in the large hole up top.
Youtube and google will be your friend here.

How do you replace the thermostat in 1995 Eagle Summit?

You only need to drain enough coolant to bring the level below the thermostat housing (1 - 2 quarts). The housing is attached to the upper radiator hose, next to the valve cover.

90 eagle talon esi rumbles driving down the road?

Sounds like you have a problem in the Overdrive sensor or the lockup in the converter. You should see if a scanner will identify this problem. Ask at the autoparts store about "What they show for an Overdrive switch or Servo?". Autozone, Advance, and Oreillys do free scans.

Check your transmission fluid as the trans works hard in top gear with pressure directly driving the tallest gear in the trans. Low fluid levels could be causing the converter to kick out of Lockup.

Need to locate auto trans dip stick tube to add fluid, for a 1995 isuzu trooper v6

I'm pretty sure that year does not have a dipstick or dipstick tube. Instead there will be two drain plugs on the transmission pan. One is the drain plug and the one more to the rear and to the side (i'm going off memory here so I might be wrong) if the fill plug. The engine will need to be running when you remove the fill plug. I will warn you that it is common for the nut for the fill plug to break loose inside of the drain pain making it impossible to remove. The fix for this is to replace the pan. If you get the plug out you will need to use a pump to add fluid to the trans until fluid starts to come out of the fill hole. When the fluid is done draining back out the trans fluid is full and the level plug can be reinstalled. Have a drain pan under the trans before you start removing the fill plug to catch any fluid that may come out or any fluid that comes out after you fill the trans. If you have any questions i'll be happy to answer them.

Where does the transmission fluid go

The automatic transmission fluid is added through the hole that the dipstick fits into on the end of the tranny. It is recommended that you do a complete change of the fluid at 40,000 mile intervals for the tranny to shift correctly. You need a long funnel and my owners manual for 1994 eagle summit ES says 6.3 quarts of ATF+3. If it's a manual tranny you use 75w-90 GL4 hypoid gear oil 1.9 Quarts.

My auto trans makes a thud when shifting out of low gear and when shifting from park to reverse or drive. Is this a major problem or a minor one which can be fixed without taking the transmission apart?...

This problem is called slippage. It can be caused by old/burned transmission fluid or something much more serious.

If you are lucky, simply changing the fluid in your transmission will do the trick. Any autoparts store will have a kit that allows you to change your fluid through the dipstick if your transmission isn't equipped with a drain plug (many aren't).

If this doesn't work, then you will have to take your car to a transmission specialist.

I hope this helps.

Where is the automatic transmission fluid reservoir for a 1995 eagle talon esi. and what type of fluid is it

I own a 95 talon esi aut trans. It's on the driver's side, in the front, next to (about a foot inside) of the wheel. just unbolt the about 10 bolts and keep it level binging it down, youll be able to get to the filter then too. You'd want to check a manual about the tpe and quantity of ATF ( like a Haynes, available @ auto parts stores for about $15, 20.) I just used Amsoil full synthetic, it's compatable with all AT systems.
