unlock all doors. if it isnt working, either your vacuum system has a leak (most likely no locks will operate automatically) or the actuator is bad. actuator pushes a pin forward from the trunk area into a hole in the door which keeps it shut/locked with doors locked.
VW lock the gas tank with central locking possibly the actuator stuck or dead or the door not unlocked try locking and unlocking all doors several times and observe if all doors are responding If all doors are locking and unlock the gas tank should also unlock If not most likely the actuator or solenoid is bad at 2009 this should be a warranty issue so let VW pay for it before you try it.
Hope this helps, it it does please leave feedback Thank You and Good Luck
Try disconnecting the cars battery for a few minutes.Remember to have your radio code handy as it will go into safe mode. This should reset your convienience control unit[central locking] and it should operate as normal..good luck
First- make ignition key in operating condition, replace battery.Than try locking & unlocking vehicle. If O.K. try to start engine. If not check main fuse- in engine compartment next to glow plugs fuse. 80 Amps
there is 2 options , 1 use a cone cutter and cut a 25 mm hole in tail gate below where your number plate is . op 2 remove covenience ecu and power up tailgate switch obviosly this is not possible if all doors are locked
