I have the same problem...Dealer said they put some foam sealant in the overhead console....but I still hear the rattle...I also have a squeaky front end and the dealer is ordering new van has 4776 miles on it.....I love the van but it feels cheaply made...once again I bought USA made but the quality is not there.....I guess they want us to go Japanese! Overhead console squeak-rattles. Console has come loose from the headliner again. The dealer tightens it up and it is good for a short period of time but the squeak-rattle always comes back. It wouldn't be so bad if it just happened just on bumpy roads. Unfortunately, it happens on everything but the most smoothest of roads. On top of that, one of the dealers has creased the headliner in their efforts to fix. (they're going out of business so fast that we have to keep finding new dealers)

My over head rattle is coming from a loose Halo light. This I confirmed while riding in the 2nd row RT seat. I just learned here, how to remove the console, so should be a successful fix.

How do you adjust the tail gate to stop the annoying rattle when driving?

Most rattles are due to the back door not closing tight enough. There is a lock/striker that the door lock assembly latches to. Usually the striker/latch is bolted to the rear floor/bumper area and the screws/bolts securing it can be loosened and the striker/latch moved forward and retightened which in turn will cause the door to be tighter stopping any rattles. You may also have a rattle inside the door assembly itself or loose paneling causing this issue

The spare tire on my 2008 Grand Caravan Sto-n-Go rattles. I tried tightening it from the inside with the "T" handle. Any tricks or suggestions? thanks

get a piece of foam and set one under the tire, and one on top of it, a 1' piece will do, It adds just enough to remove annoying rattles and keeps the spare and acc noise free

On my 2008 Dodge Caravan, when i push the close electronically button on the inside for either of the side sling doors they will not respond at all. however, when i use the remote of the overhead console...

Dodge has released some updated software for the power sliding door modules to correct this condition so the fix, is to have these modules re-programmed with the new software.

Over head console dodge 2008 se removal

Open up the sunglasses holder and there might be a screw holding it in place there. There is also another screw underneath the main body, just unsnap the cover plate to access it.

The entire console slide back away from the windshield about 1/2" once the screws are removed, then drops away.

Cruise Control, Steering Wheel Radio Buttons, Overhead Console

it sounds like you got 2 problems...the cruise and radio buttons sound like a bad clockspring......the overhead console problem sounds like a bad ambient temp sensor located behind the grill. if it is too cold out the ac will not run
