Question about 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport
On the dash its says HOLD, Is this telling me that 4 wheel drive should be on?
I have the same suv. there is a light that comes on ( it looks like 4 wheels connected with a line) it will flash or stay so solid. if it's flashing your 4wd is not locked in. put it in N and shift it into 4wd again if you are stopped. It should then stay solid. when it is solid is when your 4wd is actually on.

Hold on your dash is telling you that (active trac) is on. There should be a botton on your dash listed
A/T MODE just push it and the HOLD should go off.
