Oil over spark plug number 2

My Australian Ford Falcon 1994 S/Wagon has oil all over spark plug number 2, in a 6 cylinder, but all the other spark plugs look like they are overheating? Has anyone got any ideas as to what may cause that? If so how to fix the problem? (Goes through oil excessively)

You need to find a valve cover gasket kit, the ones i have bought came with the spark plug gaskets as well! and see if it oil is comming from around the threads on the combustion chamber, torque the plugs to specs, set the gap to specs, this has been a problem and a fix for me in the past. hope this is useful, good luck!

well you would have to take it to shop to have repaired. piston rings are inside the motor and valve cover gaskets are on the top half of the motor under the vave covers that are on top of the heads

Falcon is not firing on no.1

Assuming it is getting fuel to the cylinder, and the ignition timing is correct.....

1. Check for spark. (could be a bad spark plug). I have seen plugs that will fire outside of the cylinder, but not when installed. check carefully.
2. If there is spark, get a compression tester. remove the spark plug, replace with the tester, crank the engine a few revolutions. record the reading.
3. Remove the tester and squirt some oil into the cylinder, replace tester and crank engine again - record the result.
4. If step one reads zero...you have a burned exhaust valve or a hole in the piston, unless it is a blown head gasket which usually means there is water in the oil or visa versa. Or...if the head gasket is blown between cylinders, (no oil in water or water in the oil), then you need to do step 1 on the cylinder next to the bad cylinder. It should have a low or zero reading also.
5.If step 1 is a low reading (not zero) and step 2 INCREASES the reading. This means the rings for that cylinder are worn out and the engine should be overhauled.
6. If step 2 does not increase the reading of step 1 and it remains low (not zero), this indicates a leaking or partially burned exhaust valve.

Need to change the spark plugs for a ford falcon bf lpg 2005 model

I think you need a special long spark plug socket to reach the plugs because the plugs are deep in the cylinder head if hemi type engine, hope this helps!

Ck engine light is on and miss fire #5

There are few possibilities that can cause engine misfire issues. It can be issue with spark plugs or faulty spark plugs. Also get the compression test done for cylinders. If any of cylinder shows low compression then required, then that particular cylinder will cause misfire.

Also get obd codes scanned, the error code will let you know which cylinder is misfiring or all cylinders are misfiring.

check your compression, you might have low compression in that cylinder-also check your fuel injector in that cylinder, it may be damaged (wiring/connection) or defective.

recon job poorly done. sounds like a gasket or engine/tranny seal. is there moisture droplets on the oil dipstick? How often do you change the oil? if you change it every 3 thousand miles or 3 months faithfully, and it is not leaking oil (you see no puddles under the car) onto your driveway or street where you park it, and there are no globs of black gunk on the underside of your car anywhere, then someone could have dropped something into the engine compartment somehow, through one of the spark plug holes, when the oil cap was off, etc.
