Sooo, the fix is take out the radio, get the serial number off radio and take number to Kia dealer and they can look up the code to reset it.
There is usually a fuse in the radio itself,or in the radio harness .Also when you check the fuses there are two in the car-one for the always on power and one for the ignition power to the radio.Check the operaters manual to see which ones you need to check.If the radio need to come out you should be able to find the anchor nut under the radio knobs,they just pull off.Good luck.
