I didn't think you could check the transmission fluid level (auto trans) on a 6 or 8 cylinder BMW engine. its suppose to be "lifetime" fluid on the newer cars.

My 1995 325is died in carwash and wont start.2days.now codes are bad and engine sounds like it froze up. wont turn over at all

Try taking off the distributor cap and check for cracks. It's likely that water got into the distributor cap and both stalled the car out and is preventing it from starting again. Once you are sure the cap is good and all the components are dry (can use compressed air or starting fluid to dispel moisture), put the cap back in place and try starting.

Where do you put the A/C fluid in a 1992 BMW 325is?

1992 is still probably set up for R12 refrigerant. You really need to get it converted to R134a, but there should be 2 valves located in the "hard" lines under the hood-1 for high pressure, 1 for low pressure. The freon goes into the low pressure side. Crank car and turn A/C wide open. The connector for adding the froen should only fit the low pressure side.

obviously in the transmission. usually not an owner serviceable item.

the cap is accesible when the car is on a hoist. usually on the side of the transmission...if you can get under there...

'95 subaru legacy -where is my trans mission fluid dipstick?

is located in the passanger side of the engine. almost right above the universal joint that powers the tires/ it's on the BELL HOUSING if you open the hood and look close you will see a 2 inch curved handle/ it's verry small to see but if you take your time you will see it. the dipstic itself its about 4 inches long . you have to use a funnel and pour the fluid inthe dipstick hole.
