Question about 1987 Peugeot Liberte

Peugeot 306 i was changing my shocks and was trying to get the bottom end in wen i think i pulled the drive shaft out, it leaked a lot of oil out,can i push it back in or av i got to strip it down

How do I remove peugeot 306 gear knob

If it's the original knob then you have to remove the gaiter housing (the leather thing around the stick for novices) as the knob extends to under the gaiter and no amount of pulling will remove it without doing this first. It's easy to remove just by lifting from the long edges first and it slips out. The gaiter is secured into the middle of the bottom of the knob by a zippy tie that you have to cut. You can then just pull the whole knob up with a little bit of force but it slips up revealing a white plastic shaft

no matter the FSM covers this, buy one. best practice is that.
an 10x for DIY ,

the one at the rear of the transmission, the propeller shaft.

on most cars, you drop the 4 nuts/bolts at rear and the front pulls
out and get nice ATF oil bath.
we dont have these here.(usa)

most cars have many engine and transmission options.
3speed or 4speeds a/t were common in era. (m/t?)

here is what any mech does, (no books, no accnt)
1: looks at it, did you? if not why not look first.
2: i see 2 or 4 U-joints, some cars are 2, 1 in front , 1 in rear, look.
see em?
3: i then look 1 more time, a 2 second glance (both ends), and there are bolts on the rear and none on the front, so I know its a slip spline design.
he then, drains the transmission or jacks up rear end real high with
jack stands, and the tranny fluid goes forward to prevent the flood.
bolts off, slide it read and bam its out. i can to it 10min jacked already.

Peugeot 207 1.4, small oil leak from underneath, added engine stop leak, how long before it stops leak?

oil leaks from underneath can come from front crank shaft seal --rear crank shaft seal --oil filter--sump gasket---power steering ---leaking rocker cover gaskets ---leaking oil pressure switch.--transmission seals. I suggest that you have the engine professionally cleaned and then put it on a hoist while running to see where the oil is from

look ur cars had already done 13 years i think the drive shaft tooths may be worn out or chk out the fitting of drive shaft positioned properly or not

your plug wires need to be replaced. Open the hood when its dark and the car is running and spritz some water on the wires in a spray bottle. If the car sputters, you have a leaking plug wire.

I have a peugeot 206 gti the clutch has gone but the car wont start now i was told it had a safety thing on it to stop it starting until its fixed is this right and how can i over ride it?

i have been fixing peugeots for 12 years and never heard anything like that.
it is mrer then likley a faulty crank position sensor, coil pack or quite simply the fuel cut off switch needs resetting which should be located under the bonnet on the n/s (black unit with a red rubber top) just press the top and try starting the car..

I need a diagram for the rear brakes on my 306 ,i dont know how to put the little clips on

Take a look at this link -
I did mine on sunday, and the clips really are a lot easier to put on than 'Welly' makes out. Where he says 'offer the clip into place' - do this, but leave the long end of the spring clip off the pad, to the left. It will make it a lot easier to 'push the bottom piece just under [his[ finger under the little ledge'. After you do this, you can just pull the long end of the spring clip onto the pad, and voila. Should be able to quite easily do it with your hands.
