don't think the oil had anything to.do with it
you might of crossed the spark plug wires
when is the last time you replaced your spark plug wires, these can cause the problem, also cap and rotor, plus fuel filter to
cleaning fuel injectors to, I find Lucas fuel treatment works great, been using it on customers cars and trucks now for 6 years and get good feed back
but first start out to make sure you have spark, and fuel
haven't worked on these, but your timming chain/belt could of jumped or stretched out
make.sure you have fuel pressure
Check to see if it is getting spark by removing a spark plug and leave it connected to the wire. Put the spark plug tip against the block and have someone turn over the engine with the key. Be careful because it might accidently start. If it has spark it is possible the fuel filter is clogged or water in the gas. If it has been a while since the filter was changed, change it. Hope this helps.
Battery should be around 12V the alternator puts out 14V. Sounds like a fuel problem, leaking injectors or injector's O-rings. Weak or faulty fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, faulty fuel regulator. Try this, when starting the car while cold. Put the key all the way to the ON position, wait five to ten seconds then crank the car to start. It should start the first time the longer you give it the more fuel pressure there will be to start the car.
